Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Clear terms. Thoughtful service. Here is what to know when shopping with JabWeMeat™.
1. About these terms
JabWeMeat™ is operated by URBAN CRAVE VENTURES LLP (“we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of www.jabwemeat.com and orders placed through this website. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and the product and checkout information shown for your order.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing here excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian consumer protection or other laws.
2. Eligibility and customer information
You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a contract to place an order. Where you order for another recipient, you must be authorised to provide their information and arrange delivery.
Guest checkout is available. Your name, valid mobile number, email address, complete delivery address and PIN code are required at checkout. Provide accurate information and contact us promptly if it needs correction. Keep account credentials and sign-in codes confidential.
3. Privacy and order communications
We process information needed to handle orders, delivery, customer enquiries and legal records as described in our Privacy Policy. We may contact you about your order using the details supplied. Placing an order does not by itself constitute consent to unrelated marketing.
You may request that promotional communications stop by emailing support@jabwemeat.com. Necessary order, service and legal communications are separate from marketing.
4. Products, availability and images
Check each product’s description, pack information, quantity, price and availability before ordering. Fresh products can naturally differ in appearance, size and colour. Photos are a guide and do not override the description, quantity or quality you are entitled to receive.
Availability may change. If we cannot supply an ordered item, we will contact you about an appropriate resolution. Substitutions or changes to the payable amount require your agreement; we do not automatically impose a higher price after checkout.
Follow product-specific storage and preparation directions. Raw meat and seafood require suitable chilled storage, hygienic handling and thorough cooking where applicable. Review ingredients and allergen information and ask us before ordering if you have a concern.
5. Prices, GST and minimum order
Prices and the final payable amount are displayed at checkout in Indian rupees. The current minimum product subtotal is ₹299 before GST. Checkout currently adds 18% GST to the product subtotal and displays the tax separately.
Review the complete breakdown before submitting an order. The recorded order amount applies unless you agree to a change. Any price correction or inability to fulfil an order will be communicated; there is no automatic acceptance of an undisclosed extra charge.
6. Delivery areas and inaugural offer
Delivery is currently available in Ranchi for PIN codes 834002, 834003 and 834004, subject to the serviceability and available capacity shown at checkout.
Delivery is free under the inaugural offer. Any future delivery fee or change to the offer will be disclosed before you place an order and will not be added retrospectively to a confirmed order.
Delivery dates or windows shown are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Traffic, weather, supply disruptions and other events can cause delays. Contact us if an order is delayed. Please provide a reachable phone number, an accurate address and someone able to receive the delivery. Any proposed redelivery charge must be disclosed and agreed in advance.
7. Order submission and confirmation
Check your bag, contact details, address, selected delivery window and totals before submitting. A successful submission provides a unique order number; quote it when contacting us. Adding items to your bag alone does not place an order or reserve stock.
We may need to contact you to resolve stock, delivery, pricing or verification issues. We may cancel an order where fulfilment is not possible, the address is outside our service area or there is a reasonable concern about fraud or unlawful use. Any amount paid for items we cannot supply will be addressed through an appropriate refund, subject to applicable law.
8. Payment and order documents
Customer checkout currently accepts Cash on Delivery (COD). Pay the amount recorded for your order upon delivery. Do not share OTPs, account passwords or payment credentials with anyone claiming to arrange your order.
Order documents may be available through the checkout confirmation or other authorised access. A document expressly marked “Order Summary — Not a tax invoice” is not a tax invoice. Contact us if an order document contains an error. These terms do not change the recorded tax or payable amount for an older order.
9. Cancellations and changes
For a cancellation, address correction or item change, contact Grievance Officer as soon as possible with your order number. Fresh-food orders may enter preparation or dispatch quickly; whether a requested change can be made depends on the order’s actual stage and applicable law.
We will explain the available options and any relevant consequences before you agree to them. Nothing in these terms removes cancellation or refund rights available under applicable law.
10. Quality concerns, returns and refunds
Inspect the packaging and items when receiving your order. If an item is wrong, missing, damaged, spoiled or otherwise not as described, contact us promptly with the order number and details. Photographs and packaging information can help us investigate. Do not consume a product you believe is unsafe.
Because food is perishable, keep affected items safely stored where practicable and contact us before arranging a physical return. We will assess the issue and arrange the appropriate replacement, refund or other remedy required by the circumstances and applicable law.
Where a refund is due, we will confirm the amount, method and expected processing time. For a COD refund we will agree a suitable repayment method; you are not required by these terms to accept store credit instead of a refund to which you are legally entitled.
11. Permitted website use and feedback
Use the website only for lawful purposes. Do not submit false orders, impersonate others, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, upload malicious material, or use automated extraction in a way that infringes rights or disrupts the service.
Any feedback you provide must be honest, relevant and lawful, and must not disclose another person’s private information or infringe their rights. You remain responsible for material you submit. These terms do not restrict your right to make a genuine complaint or an honest review.
12. Intellectual property and third-party links
The website’s branding, design, text and other materials are owned by us or used subject to the relevant rights and permissions. You may use the website for personal shopping. Reproducing, selling or commercially exploiting protected materials requires the rights holder’s permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party links are provided for convenience. They do not imply endorsement or put another service under our control. Review the relevant third party’s terms and privacy information before using its service.
13. Responsibility and service interruptions
We aim to keep product and website information accurate, but errors or interruptions can occur. Please report an error so that it can be checked. We are responsible for our obligations under applicable law; this page does not disclaim responsibility for unsafe food, defective goods, misleading representations or other matters where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
You are responsible for reasonable care of your account, the accuracy of information you supply and safe handling of food after delivery. Responsibility for any loss is subject to applicable law and the circumstances; no automatic indemnity for unrelated losses is imposed by these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update this page as our services or legal requirements change and will revise the last-updated date. Material changes will be brought to customers’ attention as required by law. The terms presented when your order was placed govern that order, except where a change is required by law or agreed with you.
15. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve an issue. This does not prevent you from approaching a competent consumer commission, court or other authority, or using any statutory complaint mechanism.
Courts at Ranchi, Jharkhand may hear disputes where they have lawful jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory jurisdiction or consumer remedy. If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
