Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Your information deserves care. Here is how JabWeMeat™ handles information on this website.
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how URBAN CRAVE VENTURES LLP, the operator of JabWeMeat™ (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal information when you browse www.jabwemeat.com, use account features, place a Cash on Delivery order or contact our team. It applies to this website, not to third-party websites linked from it.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and authentication records when you request sign-in. If Google sign-in is enabled and you choose it, Google may share basic account details such as your name, email address, profile image and account identifier, according to the permissions you approve.
- Order and delivery information: recipient name, email address, mobile number, delivery address and PIN code, selected products and quantities, delivery date/window, order number, GST and order totals, payment method and fulfilment status. This is needed to receive and fulfil your order.
- Shopping activity: selected products, quantities and pincode information you enter. These help display your shopping bag and check the locations you select.
- Payment-test information: for authorised testers, account identifiers, selected items, amounts, payment/order references, verification results and technical errors may be processed by the website and Razorpay.
- Communications: information you choose to include when contacting us, such as your name, reply address and description of an issue.
- Technical information: hosting, authentication and payment services may process IP addresses, browser/device information, request times and diagnostic or security logs.
Where you use a feature requiring delivery or order information, we explain the information needed at the point of collection. Do not send passwords, OTPs, full card details or identity documents in support messages.
3. How information is used
Information is used as needed to provide requested account features, display catalogue and bag information, receive and fulfil orders, arrange delivery, maintain order and tax records, check access permissions, run authorised payment tests, answer enquiries, investigate errors, prevent misuse and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not treat browsing the website as permission for unrelated marketing.
Where processing requires your consent, we will request it for the relevant purpose. You may decline optional information or withdraw consent, although a feature may be unavailable if information necessary to provide it is withheld.
5. Cookies and browser storage
The website and its services use browser storage and may use cookies for essential functions such as maintaining authentication and supporting payment flows. The Supabase client is configured to persist sign-in sessions in browser storage. The shopping bag is kept in session storage for the current browser tab. A random checkout reference may be temporarily stored there to prevent duplicate orders and recover an interrupted confirmation. Delivery form details are sent to our database when you place an order; they are not stored in the shopping bag. Authorised payment-test attempt details may also use session storage.
You can sign out and manage cookies or site storage through your browser. Clearing storage may sign you out or remove bag and checkout-recovery information. Blocking essential storage may prevent some features from working.
Google Analytics and advertising/conversion tracking have not been configured as part of the current storefront implementation. If optional analytics or advertising tools are introduced, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before they are activated.
6. Payment information
Customer orders currently use Cash on Delivery. The website records the payment method, amount payable and payment/collection status; no online payment details are required for COD checkout.
Razorpay checkout is currently for authorised test-mode use only and does not create a customer delivery order. Enter only Razorpay-approved test payment details, not real banking credentials. Payment entry is handled through Razorpay; the website backend processes references and verification information rather than asking you to send full payment credentials to JabWeMeat™.
Payment providers have their own security, storage and privacy practices. A successful test result is not a live purchase confirmation. Never send payment credentials through support messages.
7. Security and retention
Technical safeguards in the current implementation include encrypted HTTPS connections, account-based access checks and server-side handling of payment secrets. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Use a trusted device, sign out on shared devices and do not share sign-in links or codes.
Information should be retained only for the purpose for which it was collected, security, dispute resolution or applicable legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the record and the provider; this policy does not promise immediate deletion of backups or legally required records. You may contact us about retention or deletion of information associated with your account.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You may browse without signing in. You can ask about personal information associated with your account, request correction or deletion, withdraw optional consent or raise a privacy concern using the contact below. Requests will be assessed under applicable Indian law; certain records may need to be retained where legally required.
We may request proportionate information to verify that a request relates to your account, but will not ask for your password or OTP. Deleting an account or blocking required information may prevent continued use of account-dependent features. If marketing is introduced, it must include a way to opt out; withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent necessary service or security messages.
9. Children’s information
Account and checkout features are intended for adults. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorisation, contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action. We do not knowingly direct marketing to children.
10. External websites
Links to other websites do not place those websites under our control. Review their privacy notices before sharing information. The same applies when you choose to use a third-party sign-in or payment service.
11. Updates to this policy
This page may be updated as features, providers or legal requirements change. The last-updated date will be revised. Material changes will be highlighted through an appropriate website notice or other required communication; fresh consent will be sought where required. This policy does not waive rights available under applicable Indian law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold JabWeMeat™ harmless from: (i) any actions, claims, demands, suits, damages, losses, penalties, interest and other charges and expenses (including legal fees and other dispute resolution costs) made by any third party due to or arising out of any violation of the terms of this Policy; (ii) any acts or deeds, including for any non-compliance or violation, of any applicable law, rules, regulations on Your part; or (iii) for violations committed by You.
13. Governing Law & Severability
The invalidity or unenforceability of any part of this Policy shall not prejudice or affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of this Policy. This Policy has been prepared under the provisions of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”) and its corresponding rules as enshrined under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“IT Rules”) to monitor information (including sensitive personal data or information) collected, received, possessed, stored, dealt with, or handled by JabWeMeat™.
